How many messages are considered as a campaign and do I need to register?

Even 1 message can be considered a campaign for A2P, all numbers are required to be assigned to a  campaign

How many messages can I send per-DID?

Throughput is determined based on who is sending the message (the Brand and Campaign) and what is being sent, not on the amount of numbers used.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPROVE MY CAMPAIGN ONCE SUBMITTED?

Standard Use Case Campaigns can take up to 10 business days for qualified brands, while some Special Use Case Campaigns are dependent on MNO review times. These Campaigns initially will be in a “Pending” Status upon completion of the registration process. Once the Campaign Registry receives the approval decision from the MNO, we will inform the registered User (CSP).

WILL HAVING MY BRANDS VETTED IMPROVE THEIR THROUGHPUT OR LOWER THEIR PER MESSAGE SURCHARGES?

The Campaign Registry works with third-party vetting partners, who may provide independent information to the carrier about the Brand that may result in the Brand having access to higher message throughput and, potentially, lower surcharges. You can apply for vetting for a Brand during the Campaign Registration process. The external vetting will override TCR initial rating for better or for worse.

Yes, absolutely! We understand that in certain campaigns a company can fill multiple roles. Filling both the CSP and DCA roles means that you will need to register the Brand and Campaign as the CSP and then setup the CampaignID with the associated numbers for the campaign in the OSR Database.

THE BRAND I'M WORKING WITH HAS ALREADY BEEN REGISTERED AND VETTED WITH ANOTHER OF THEIR MESSAGING PARTNERS. DO I HAVE TO HAVE THEM VETTED AGAIN?

Each CSP must register the Brands that they are working with, whether or not they have already been registered to another CSP. If your Brand has already been vetted, you can import an existing vetting on the ‘Brand Details’ page.

HOW DO YOU VALIDATE THAT I AM WORKING WITH THE BRANDS THAT I REGISTER?

When you add a Brand to your CSP profile, we ask you to provide contact information for the Brand. The Brand may be contacted at any time to verify their business relationship with your company.

IS THERE ANY BENEFIT TO HAVING A SINGLE-USE CASE CAMPAIGN VS A MIXED-USE CASE CAMPAIGN?

Typically, single Use Case Campaigns receive higher throughput and lower surcharges than mixed Use Case Campaigns types. This is meant to incentivize declaring a Use Case, as this type of Campaign provides the greatest transparency for the market.

IF MY BRAND NEEDS HIGH THROUGHPUT FOR THEIR USE CASE, CAN I SET UP MY CAMPAIGN ON MULTIPLE NUMBERS TO IMPROVE THROUGHPUT?

Throughput is determined based on who is sending the message (the Brand) and what is being sent (the Use Case and Vertical), not on the amount of numbers associated with the Campaign. The best course of action to provide your client with higher throughput is to have them vetted, declare a Use Case, and provide a detailed explanation of their Campaign.

What values are accepted for non-US based in place of the EIN?

Indian Companies should use the following for Registry:  DIN, FCRN, LLPIN, and FLLPIN number.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CAMPAIGN IS REJECTED?

A campaign can be rejected by the upstream providers upon initial registration of the campaign. If this happens, you will receive a notification via email with the rejection details.
Depending on the rejection reason, you have two options:
Edit the campaign, update the information, and submit the campaign again; this will resend it to The Campaign Registry for another review.
Deactivate the campaign and create a new one with the corrected information (this will incur a new charge).
To help you avoid rejections and optimize your campaigns, note that the new interface includes a variety of information and other mechanisms. Get our list of best practices or download our SMS eBook to learn more.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY NUMBERS DO NOT SUCCESSFULLY ASSIGN TO A CAMPAIGN?

There are a few reason why numbers may fail to assign to a campaign:
They’re already associated with a campaign.
The campaign has not been deployed / is not active yet.
If a number fails to assign to a campaign, you will be notified via email with the specific numbers that were unable to be assigned, and the campaign ID. You can assign other numbers to the campaign (up to 49 total) at any time.

Please reach out to support to provide your CSP ID. We can then link this to your existing thinQ.io account to pull in the connectivity partner campaigns.

WHAT IF I AM ALREADY USING THE TELI APIS FOR CREATING BRANDS / CAMPAIGNS / NUMBER ASSIGNMENTS?

These will continue to work, but you will not see them display in thinQ io right away.
We recommend that you update your API calls to endpoints below. You can find the documentation here: Commio Campaign Registry API.
